Vbabylone, also known as Babylon, was an ancient city located in Mesopotamia. It was known for its impressive architecture, such as the Hanging Gardens, and for its role in the development of civilization.

Founded around 2300 BC, Babylon was a major cultural and economic center in the ancient world. It was home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Hanging Gardens, which were built by King Nebuchadnezzar II for his wife.

Babylon was also famous for its massive city walls, which were said to be wide enough for chariots to race along the top. The city was conquered and rebuilt several times throughout its history, but it remained an important center of trade and culture until it was abandoned in the 2nd century AD.
